Opera Studio NRW is a joint project between four internationally renowned opera houses. Together, Aalto-Theater Essen, Theater Dortmund, Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen and Oper Wuppertal have developed a practically orientated programme in order to offer young talented singers an ideal professional start in the world of opera.

For the season 2023/2024 we are looking for:

Highly talented young singers who have completed their studies will get the chance to participate in professional productions at four prestigious opera houses. They will work with renowned directors, coaches, conductors and orchestras. The members of the Opera Studio NRW will learn roles, receive movement training, take language courses and acting classes as well as actively participating in a series of masterclasses presented by highly acclaimed guest artists. In addition, every season there are planned several concerts of the Studio.

Application deadline for the season 2023/2024 is November 30th, 2022.
